Newstime once again. And once again without much actual news. 

First point of order: Keep your eyes on Bleeding Heart Nihilist for a very special record that might actually come out this very month. It is also possible that we have teased it like.. 3 or 4 times already over the course of 2+ years. And on top of that, we might even have a few of these mysterious records on more than one outdated format with us at the next shows. How exciting!

If you want to see us live this year, there are currently two possibilities to do just that:One of them happens to be this Saturday (yes, on Jesus-weekend!) in Bremen at “Hansemosh” 2023. The other one will be at this year’s Klauefest in Braunschweig on May 13th. 
We may have forgotten to tell anyone about this so far, but who reads these newsletters anyways?

Other than that, we are currently at around 5 new songs, meaning we might actually record the new album this year. Stay tuned for another update in a few months if we don’t forget about it again.

Hi everyone,

not too much news this year it seems, as the last update was from March. Time flies.
We have been pretty inactive over the last few months for various reasons – family, work or just private issues that needed solving. As a result, everyone who ordered stuff from us since the last shows in May might have wondered where their stuff is – the answer is simple, we didn’t rehearse properly for ages and it was still in our room until a week ago. But the positive side to this is that now everything is sent out, you should get it in the coming week. Hurray!

Also, we have recorded a new song which will appear on a split 7″ very soon. And we will do a tour with that split band in October. But more on that once the split is announced or else I’ll run out of newsletter topics.

… And then there is also the split 12″ with HERMANN that might be released this century, but we will see about that one. Vinyl delays are no fun.

Hey there,

time for the first newsletter of 2022.

To start it off, let us begin with the topic that dominates most people’s minds right now – the ongoing offense of Russia against the Ukrainian population.
As anyone who has followed us for a while now will know, we are strictly against war – though it dominates most of our music. It’s an atrocity, nothing to be celebrated or wished for. On the other hand, we have never been quiet on our disdain for Nationalist views, national states and the glorification of political leaders and parties.
As such, our message in this situation is clear – support the Ukrainian refugees, as well as all the other people still fleeing conflicts in their homelands. Support those who stand up and fight oppression in these times – the Ukrainian population, but also all those who resist the Russian government, go out to protest and risk arrests or even their lives.

long time no Updates. Mostly because not much has happened, but still, here’s what’s been going on lately:

Fucking Kill is doing a vinyl version of our collaboration with NOIR. Head over there and get one if you fancy vinyl over tapes. On the other hand, BLACK TAPES still has a few copies of the 2nd tape edition available.

Apart from all that, ‘Rona still successfully keeps us from rehearsing in full. Still, we’re not completely lazy – next Sunday, we will start recording a cover song for a not-quite-yet announced tribute LP we are part of, alongside many other great bands (!).Also, the two other releases we promised a while ago are shaping up nicely and should see the light of day in late Summer or early August.

It’s been a while since the last newsletter and there is quite some news this time! 

MINENFELD // NOIR – COLLABORATION

Today – more precisely right now! – marks the release of the first of what shapes out to be four new releases this year: MINENFELD // NOIR. It is our first collaboration with an artist not hailing from the whole “Metal” genre we’re usually in and about. Since I’m bad at promo texts, here’s a quote from Nino (Endurance to hell, transcended music blog):

“Dolchstoß // Fear is a collaboration track between the well known german underground death metal band MINENFELD and noise artist NOIR. This exclusive work is no traditional split. It merges the filthy and brutal death metal of MINENFELD with the noisy electronic sound-scapes of NOIR. Both artists have come together for the first time to give you relentless audio terror to add more depth to MINENFELD’s sound than ever in the band’s entire history. In summary Dolchstoß meets Fear!”

Hey there, internet people,
Nearly two months since our last newsletter have passed and we thought it time for yet another one. Currently, German Covid regulations once again keep us from rehearsing which also means that none of us regularly visits our rehearsal room. As this is also the place where we keep most of our merch, please be patient with your orders in the coming weeks. We will figure out a way to speed things up, but currently it can take quite a while until we get everything together. So if you are worried if your order was lost or forgotten – we are just slow. Sorry!
As far as real news are concerned, to no one’s surprise our show with EREMIT on the weekend of December 4th and 5th has been postponed. It is now scheduled to take place on February 20th and 21st, same lineup and everything. Since we already prepared for these shows by ordering new merch, we have now decided to simply sell it online instead. So if you are interested in new patches, DIY hand-etched metal plaques or new shirts, have a look at minenfeld.bandcamp.com as usual.

Just yesterday, we received what might just be the final mix for our upcoming releases. One of these might already see the light of day in early 2020 with the rest following in the months after. For one of these yet untitled releases we can now announce that none other than Jan Buragay, who already did the amazing artwork for THE GREAT ADVENTURE, is at it again and currently working on a new piece for us. More updates on the new stuff once we can actually show you something. And we really can’t wait to do that!
Since last time a few people reported that our newsletter ended up in their spam, I will give it a try and send out this one via the bandcamp follower-thingy as well. So if you get two, that’s probably why 🙂
